  • Our mission at The African Connection is to provide training and empowerment to young Africans, helping them define their professional brands and enter higher education and employment with confidence.

The African Connection is a non-profit organization committed to fostering youth development and empowerment in Namibia. Our track record speaks for itself, as we have effectively executed programs that furnish educational resources and mentorship to disadvantaged youth.

  • “The AC was founded in 2020 during the start of Covid-19. I always had an idea to start an organization that helps young Namibians, but I did not have the means to do so.

However, when I went home to Namibia in 2019, I realized that just because I do not have the fund to help young Namibians does not mean I could not share my skills in resume and interview preparations. For the first year, we were able to help 100 people with their resumes and cover letter.” - David Immanuel

  • Our goal is to continuously generate opportunities for the growth and development of young Africans and their communities.

At The African Connection, we are determined to expand our social media presence and enhance our resume and cover letter programs by incorporating interview support. We have strengthened our team by recruiting more volunteers and professionals who will be instrumental in developing our organization's programming, data collection, and fundraising efforts. Our investment in these areas will enable us to host more webinars, reach out to organizations and institutions, collaborate with them, and forge strategic partnerships that will have a positive impact on the Namibian youth.
